Still staying
Thank you for praying for "F". An amazing thing took place in my home last night. She and about 30 others from her region of the world came to dinner for the eating of an entire lamb stuffed with rice. All the others who came from her region of the world are believers, and wouldn't you know it, one leads a study of the Truth in Arabic every day in "F"s home town of Anaheim. I didn't even know this teacher was coming to my house...but The Author of all this certainly did. Now, after "F"'s baptism tomorrow, she has a regular place to study in her own language and grow in her newfound faith in her own town. She will be studying alongside those who are still investigating Christianity and are from her former religion. She will also have the opportunity to improve her English. We ate, enjoyed testifying, and singing alongside an accordian with many minor chords. Brandon, the music composer of the house, joined in on the piano by ear, and had quite an education on the rhythms of middle eastern praise and worship songs. And he was going to go to the opera last night. HA! This was a heavenly opera...in my house! Many days I wish I could "go"...but this week, I'm really glad I stayed.

Been going through the same thing for several months now...wanting to go.
Came across a poem that really spoke to me about waiting and how while He withholds His purpose His waiting cannot be wrong.
In the mean time, I'm glad you're here!
Oh how exciting.
A verse that God has used in my life “So whether we are at home or away, we make it our AIM to please Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:9.
You have pleased him my dear friend, you have pleased him.
That is so neat. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall to hear the sweet sounds of people praising God. God is so good.
